In the Esports club we are very dedicated to putting our best performance when it comes to League of Legends. We practice every week to make sure we are ready for any competition that comes our way. Through hard work and dedication, we represent Oswego in the best way we possibly can. We compete in the Collegiate Starleagues and strive to bring home a championship.
Hearthstone at SUNY Oswego has been successful, making it to regionals for Tespa. Throughout the semester we host Fireside Gatherings and events for new expansions.
Fairly new to the Esports Association, our Overwatch team was created in the Fall of 2018. Known as the Oswego Onslaught, we compete in the Tespa collegiate league against other colleges and universities across the country. If playing competitively isn't your thing (or if you play on console), we also encourage club members to queue together and hang out in-game!
The Oswego Esports club is your home for Competitive Smash at Oswego. Mostly managed by our Fighting Game coordinator, we provide equipment, prizes and run tournaments for Super Smash Bros Ultimate as well as Super Smash Bros Melee. We have approximately one official Smash Ultimate tournament a month that rewards first place with money and the bragging rights, as well as smaller Smash tournaments held at our weekly events where you can compete for fun or for glory.
